He was asked, "What is in your wallet?"  He replied, " I don't carry one anymore, I just have my license and bank card.."

He said, "That he would be star-struck around Britney Spears."

"People would be shocked to know that I waited tables @ Frishes and Big Boy."

"The word I overuse is Great."

The funniest thing he did when he was a child was, he brought a snake into the house.

His best friends would say that he is very ambitious. 

The best advice he has been given - "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge."

He was asked if the original named for the group was Blue.  He replied, " Yes, but we really never wanted it to be that.  I guess they figured pink for girls and blue for boys, but we finally had to put our foot down and tell them that we wanted a real name."

He was asked, "Did you do a lot of writing on the album or were most of the songs presented to you?" He answered, "Most of the songs were actually presented just because everything happened so fast. We wanted to get the album out and everything just seemed to snowball. But it was cool to work with the same people who both wrote and produced the songs."

CDNOW asked, "Did any of you know each other before auditioning for the group?"
He answered, "I came in the group through the connection of Nate's second cousin, who is an evangelist, and he came to my dad's church. I had sung that morning, and he had preached. After church, he told me about a group that his second cousin was in...I sent a tape of me singing to Nate and his dad, and they watched it. Then they sent it to Mitch, our manager, he liked it, and flew me out to meet the guys. I met the guys and everything really clicked. It all worked really well, so I joined the band."

Do you use this  as a personal/artistic expression in addition to a means to express your faith?
 "Artistric freedom and growing as vocalists and musicians and stuff. We laugh at ourselves, because it's just so funny. Dress, too! We look back at what we used to wear a few months and go "dude, that was..." and we'll do that a year from now. It's like, being an artist is cool, but you've got to  stay level headed, you know?"
